CDL Feed Haul Driver

About the Role

Feed haul drivers are the backbone of our local supply chain, transporting feed between mills and poultry farms on home-daily routes. This position is designed for drivers who value consistency and the ability to return home each evening while ensuring our farms are stocked and operational.

Day in the Life

You will operate a Class A CDL vehicle to deliver feed to growers and other required destinations. Your day begins with thorough pre-trip inspections to guarantee the safety of your loads before hitting the road. Throughout the shift, you will maintain regular communication with dispatchers to coordinate deliveries and navigate any logistical changes. The role requires working in an outdoor environment, often in inclement weather, and involves climbing in and out of the truck cab regularly. You will also work in environments with raw, live animal odors and may occasionally need to lift 50+ lbs.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with a clean motor vehicle driving record. Selected applicants will receive on-the-job training to ensure they are fully prepared for the specific demands of the route and company procedures.
