CDL Feed Haul Driver

About the Role

Feed haul drivers are the backbone of our local supply chain, transporting feed between mills and poultry farms on home-daily routes. This position is designed for drivers who value consistency and the ability to return home each night while supporting the agricultural community.

Shift & Schedule

This role operates on the 2nd Shift. Drivers will deliver feed between feed mills, growers, and other required destinations, ensuring timely logistics for our operations.

What You'll Do

As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of feed. Your day involves performing pre-trip inspections to ensure load safety, complying with established fueling procedures, and maintaining regular communication with dispatchers. You will also ensure strict adherence to DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, and all local, state, and federal laws and policies.

Physical Environment

This role requires working in an outdoor environment on a daily basis, including inclement weather. Drivers will sit and drive for up to 10 hours, regularly climb in and out of the truck cab, and occasionally lift 50+ lbs. The role also involves working around raw, live animal odors.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License and have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with a clean motor vehicle driving record. Selected candidates will undergo on-the-job training to ensure readiness for the role.
