Feed haul drivers are the backbone of our local supply chain, transporting feed between mills and poultry farms on home-daily routes. This position is designed for drivers who value consistency and the ability to return home each night while supporting our agricultural operations.
This role operates on the 2nd Shift. Drivers will be responsible for delivering feed to growers and other required destinations, ensuring timely arrivals to keep our production lines moving.
Your day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection to ensure the safety of your loads and compliance with all company fueling procedures. Throughout the shift, you will maintain regular communication with dispatchers to coordinate routes and deliveries. The role requires working in an outdoor environment, including inclement weather, and involves regularly climbing in and out of the truck cab. You will also work in environments with raw, live animal odors and may occasionally need to lift 50+ lbs.
Safety and regulatory compliance are paramount. Drivers must adhere to all DOT, company, biosecurity, FSMA, local, state, and federal laws, policies, and procedures. A clean motor vehicle driving record is essential to maintaining these standards.
We provide on-the-job training to ensure you are fully prepared for the role. Candidates must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and possess at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
