CDL Feed Haul Driver

About the Role

Feed haul drivers are the backbone of our local supply chain, transporting feed between mills and poultry farms on home-daily routes. This position is designed for drivers who value consistency and the ability to return home every night while supporting our agricultural community.

Day in the Life

As a 2nd Shift driver, you will operate a Class A CDL vehicle to deliver feed to growers and other required destinations. Your day involves performing pre-trip inspections to ensure load safety, adhering to company fueling procedures, and maintaining regular communication with dispatchers. You will navigate local routes while complying with all DOT, biosecurity, FSMA, and federal regulations.

Physical Environment

This role requires working in an outdoor environment daily, including inclement weather. You will spend up to 10 hours driving, regularly climbing in and out of the truck cab, and working around raw, live animal odors. Occasional lifting of 50+ lbs is also required.

Hiring Process

Applicants must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience, and a clean motor vehicle driving record. Selected candidates will undergo training and begin their 2nd shift route immediately upon qualification.
