About the Role
As a CDL Driver Local Delivery at PODS, you will serve as the face of our company, safely transporting and positioning portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers on local routes. This is a customer-facing position where your primary mission is to provide courteous, on-time service while navigating on-site challenges with professionalism.
In this role, you will operate CDL equipment to deliver and pick up containers, performing rigorous pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. You will be responsible for securing, loading, and unloading containers in strict adherence to DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Beyond driving, you will maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs while communicating effectively with dispatch to manage your daily schedule.
