Join PODS as a CDL Driver in our Transportation & Logistics team, where you play a vital role in delivering portable moving and storage solutions to residential and commercial customers nationwide. Our team is built on a foundation of teamwork, reliability, and accountability, ensuring that every container reaches its destination safely and on time.
This hands-on position is designed for drivers who take pride in safe vehicle operation and exceptional customer service. You will be the face of PODS at customer sites, responsible for safely operating CDL trucks to transport, deliver, and reposition containers. Beyond driving, your day involves performing pre- and post-trip inspections, securing loads according to strict DOT standards, and managing electronic log devices.
You will interact directly with customers to position containers, answer basic questions, and resolve routine service issues, representing our customer-first, safety-focused culture. The role offers steady local or regional routes, providing an opportunity to build logistics and operations skills while enjoying a clear path for advancement within a growing company.
To join our team, candidates must possess a valid CDL Class A or B license, a clean motor vehicle record (MVR), and a current DOT medical card. Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations is essential. While not required, forklift certification is a preferred qualification that can enhance your operational versatility.
