About the Role
TransAm Trucking is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for long-haul career opportunities. This role offers the chance to enjoy life on the road with top-of-the-line, late-model equipment and runs nationwide.
The position is designed for drivers who prioritize safety and consistency. TransAm rewards safe driving early and often, offering a raise after the first 30 days for those who remain accident-free and maintain a high safety score. Pay increases are reviewed bi-annually, providing a clear path to grow earnings through consistent performance.
Compensation and Benefits
Drivers can expect a competitive starting pay rate ranging from $0.40 to $0.60 per mile (loaded and empty), which includes per diem. Additional compensation opportunities include detention pay, bonus opportunities, layover pay, and stop pay. Eligible drivers working a full schedule may also qualify for a weekly guarantee.
Beyond earnings, the company provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance options, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid CDL-A license, be at least 21 years old, and have a minimum of three months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience. Starting pay rates are dependent on verified safe driving experience.
