About the Role
The Driver, Trainee Component position is designed to help you take your CDL-A career further. In this role, you will learn the essential functions of a Driver, including the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. As part of the developmental process, you will gain exposure to warehouse and other operational functions while riding and training with a Driver Trainer.
You will observe and practice commercial driving regulations, engine starting, and vehicle maneuvering on roads and customer premises. Your day-to-day involves ensuring product is secure for undamaged transport, documenting delivery receipts and product temperatures, and providing excellent customer service through on-time deliveries and efficient returns. This role requires a safety-focused, reliable, adaptable, and dedicated mindset to help move America forward together.

- check_circleAssist Driver in unloading trailer and delivering product into customer premises
- check_circleMaintain driver logs according to DOT regulations documenting deliveries and exceptions
- check_circleOperate Driver Delivery Handheld to document receipts, temperatures, and exceptions
- check_circleProvide customer service including on-time delivery, product returns, and issuing credits
Requirements
