About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with a strategic vision to expand into a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks at no cost to you. This role is designed to build dedicated opportunities through our logistics sister company, offering a path from general freight to more consistent routes.
Your primary territory will span 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest states to ensure safety and efficiency. The position involves drop-hook and no-touch freight, with a typical schedule of two weeks out. While dispatch is force-based, we maintain a flexible approach to accommodate your home time needs and preferred schedules, provided you are super organized and communicative.
Compensation & Perks
We offer a competitive W-2 compensation package with full-time benefits. Drivers can earn up to $1,000 per week, with low mileage rates added for fair compensation. We provide $25 per hour in detention pay after two hours at a facility and a $200 daily stipend for any breakdown or maintenance occurring on the road. If you have secure parking, you are welcome to take the equipment home.
Our benefits package includes a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental plans via Principal. We also offer paid time off and holidays off. If you are required to work on an observed holiday, you will receive an additional $50 on top of your regular revenue. We also welcome pet passengers, subject to policy.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must meet specific safety and experience standards. We require a minimum of three years of CDL A experience and applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 75 (due to insurance regulations). Your Motor Vehicle Record must show less than one moving violation in the last two years, with no Drug Testing failures or CDL violations in the past 15 years.
