About the Role
We are seeking experienced Company Drivers to operate our fleet out of our Obetz, OH yard, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with a seasonal preference to avoid the Northwest during winter months. The role is built on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we actively work to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
You will drive well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. The position involves drop-hook and no-touch freight. Drivers have the option to take their equipment home if they have secure parking available. Dispatch is force-based but remains flexible; we strive to accommodate needed home time and schedule preferences for drivers who are super organized and communicative.
Compensation & Benefits
As a Company Driver, all equipment is provided and maintained at no cost to you. We offer a competitive compensation structure including low mileage rates for fair compensation, detention pay of $25 per hour after 2 hours at a facility, and a breakdown/maintenance allowance of $200 per day while on the road. There is a maximum weekly earning cap of $1,000. Additionally, drivers receive $50 on top of regular revenue for working on observed holidays.
We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision/dental coverage through Principal. Paid time off and holidays are also included. We also welcome pet passengers under our pet passenger policies.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To join our team, candidates must hold a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience. Drivers must be at least 25 years old and under 75 (due to insurance regulations). Your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must show fewer than 1 moving violation in the last 2 years, with no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
