We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. As a Company Driver, you will not incur any truck costs; all equipment is provided and maintained by the company.
Your primary route will cover 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest states to ensure safety and efficiency. The work is dynamic and based on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we are actively building dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company. You will handle drop-hook freight with no-touch loads, ensuring a smooth and professional delivery experience.
You will be part of a dispatch force that is organized and communicative, yet flexible enough to accommodate your schedule and home time needs. While the role is generally two weeks out, we strive to balance operational demands with driver well-being. If you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home. We also support a pet passenger policy, allowing you to bring your furry companions on the road.
We offer fair compensation with low mileage rates and a $200 daily stipend for any breakdowns or maintenance occurring on the road. Detention pay is provided at $25 per hour after two hours at a facility. Additionally, drivers receive $50 on top of regular revenue for working on observed holidays, with a weekly cap of $1,000.
As a full-time W-2 employee, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental insurance via Principal. Paid time off and holidays are also included.
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria: a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience, be between 25 and 75 years of age, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record with fewer than one moving violation in the last two years. Additionally, there must be no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the past 15 years.
We value organization, communication, and flexibility. Our team is dedicated to building long-term opportunities for our drivers while maintaining a safe and efficient operation across the country.
