CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. We provide the truck at no cost to you, and if you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home.

Your primary route will cover 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest states. While the work is currently based on customer needs rather than dedicated lanes, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.

Day in the Life

You will handle drop-hook, no-touch freight with a typical schedule of two weeks out. Dispatch is force-based but remains flexible to accommodate your need for home time and specific schedules. We value drivers who are super organized and communicative.

To support your time on the road, we offer detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, along with low mileage rates for fair compensation. Additionally, you receive $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance issues encountered on the road, with a maximum weekly earning cap of $1,000.

We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision/dental through Principal. You will also receive paid time off and holidays off. If you are required to work on an observed holiday, you will receive an additional $50 on top of your regular revenue. We also welcome pet passengers on our trucks.

Hiring Process

Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:

• Hold a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience.
• Be between 25 and 75 years of age.
• Have fewer than one moving violation on your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in the last two years.
• Have no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
