CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

As a Company Driver for our OH operation based in Obetz, you will operate a 2020 newer sleeper truck, fully provided and maintained by the company. This position is designed for drivers who value reliable equipment and the flexibility to build a career with us. You will primarily service 47 states, excluding California, and will generally be out for two weeks at a time. While the work is currently based on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.

Day-to-Day Operations

You will handle drop-hook, no-touch freight across the network. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible, capable of accommodating your home time needs and preferred schedules provided you are super organized and communicative. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest states to ensure safety and efficiency. If you encounter a breakdown or maintenance issue on the road, you will receive $200 per day for compensation. Additionally, if you have secure parking, you may take the equipment home.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive W-2 package with full-time benefits, including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision/dental through Principal. Drivers receive paid time off and holidays off. For work performed on observed holidays, you will earn an additional $50 on top of regular revenue. We also offer a detention pay of $25 per hour after the first two hours at a facility, along with low mileage rates added for fair compensation. Pet passenger policies are in place for eligible drivers.

Hiring Process

To join our team, candidates must meet specific safety and experience standards, including a minimum of 3 years of CDL A experience and being between the ages of 25 and 75. Your Motor Vehicle Record must show fewer than one moving violation in the last two years, with no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the past 15 years.
