CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, and encourages avoiding the Northwest during winter months. The role is built on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.

Equipment and Operations

Drivers operate 2020 newer sleeper trucks that are company-owned and well-maintained. We utilize a drop-hook, no-touch freight model. If you have secure parking, you are permitted to take the equipment home. Dispatch is force-based but remains flexible; we strive to accommodate needed home time and different schedules for drivers who are super organized and communicative.

Compensation and Benefits

As a Company Driver, the truck is provided at no cost to you. Compensation includes low mileage rates for fair compensation, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a $200 daily stipend for any breakdown or maintenance on the road. There is a maximum weekly cap of $1,000. Additionally, drivers receive $50 on top of regular revenue if working on an observed holiday.

We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental coverage through Principal. Paid time off and holidays are also provided. We welcome pet passengers under our pet passenger policies.

Hiring Process

Candidates must meet the following requirements: a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience, be between 25 and 75 years old (due to insurance reasons), have fewer than one moving violation in the last two years on their Motor Vehicle Record, and have no Drug Test failures or CDL violations in the last 15 years.
