This position serves as a vital link in our logistics network, responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, typically within proximity of our consolidation and distribution centers. The role involves loading and unloading trailers using the same techniques, technology, and procedures as a dock worker, while exercising independent judgment to utilize time, resources, and energy effectively and efficiently.\n Day-to-day duties range from check-in and tractor/trailer inspections to setting up tractors and completing routine paperwork and loading logs. Candidates must be prepared to comply with all weight distribution laws and adapt to varying schedules and terminal locations. Shifts may include days, nights, and weekends depending on the specific service center needs.
This is an hourly position paid weekly. In accordance with the New York State Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the pay range for this position is $28.59 to $31.77 per hour, with overtime paid after 8 hours for full-time employees. A top-scale wage rate of $31.77/hr is available for fully qualified candidates who apply before 03/31/2026.

Candidates must possess a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements, along with at least one year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less experience may be eligible for training). Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a stable work record and a safe driving history. All candidates must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
