As a driver, you will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver groceries, foodservice products, and other cargo. Your role ensures timely and accurate delivery to predetermined customers on specific routes. You will review orders prior to delivery to ensure correct loads and that they are error-free, while also coordinating with the logistics team to track deliveries. Beyond driving, you will collect signatures or payments when needed and handle customer concerns with tact and efficiency, always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
We value safety above all else. You will be expected to load, unload, prepare, and inspect delivery vehicles, performing pre and post-trip inspections in strict adherence to all Department of Transportation regulations. A commitment to maintaining a safe driving record is essential to our shared mission of reliability.
To join our team, you must possess a Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A), a clean driving record, and DOT medical certification. Familiarity with electronic equipment and software, such as GPS, AVL units, and CB radios, is required. We look for candidates with proven experience in truck driving, strong time management and customer service skills, and the ability to handle cargo effectively.
