About the Company
CY Farms is a multi-generation, family-owned operation located in western New York, situated between Buffalo and Rochester. What began as a 25-cow dairy in 1951 has evolved into a 6,000-acre diversified crop farm. Today, the operation is led by Craig, Christian, and five managers, supported by a staff of 20.
The farm cultivates 6,000 acres of field crops and vegetables, rotating corn, wheat, soybeans, malting barley, and alfalfa with cabbage, onions, green peas, and spinach. CY Farms continues to grow and adapt annually, constantly experimenting with new practices and crops to ensure sustainable progress.
About the Role
As a Company Driver, you will operate a flatbed trailer on local routes, serving as a vital link in the farm's logistics chain. This is a solo position focused on efficient, day-shift transportation of agricultural goods. The role offers a dynamic day-to-day rhythm, requiring you to manage the full scope of the transport process, including 100% of loading and unloading duties and approximately 75% tarping responsibilities.
You will be part of a team that values stability and growth, working within a schedule designed to keep you connected to home. The position averages 100 to 1,000 miles per week, allowing for a consistent routine while supporting the farm's expanding operations.
Hiring Process
