Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Class A CDL Truck Driver for Penske, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will be hauling freight for some of the world's leading brands, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
This role requires you to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed. You will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. You will also use scanners to track products as they are unloaded and delivered.
When you drive for Penske, you are representing both the company and your clients. It is about incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career. With locations across the nation, you have the opportunity to move to a new city as you grow.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure the safety of all. We pay every Friday and offer a stable, nationwide environment known for great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
Drivers can expect to be away from home for 2 to 3 weeks per assignment, with dispatch times varying depending on the work assignment. You will travel to your assigned location and work from there for the duration of the assignment.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
