Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- check_circleOperate imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures
- check_circleMaintain strict sterile technique and radiation safety standards
- check_circleAssist physicians with device prep, contrast, and medication administration
- check_circleMonitor and document hemodynamics, EKG, and patient status throughout procedures
- check_circleProvide pre- and post-procedure patient education and support
- check_circleCoordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
- check_circleAccurately document procedures in the EMR and maintain records
- check_circleParticipate in on-call rotation for emergent cases as needed
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent ARRT or RCIS certification
- verifiedState radiologic technologist license (as applicable)
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS certification
- verifiedPrevious cath lab or interventional radiology experience
