About the Role
As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be an integral part of the cardiac care team, supporting both diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role exists to ensure the safe and efficient execution of complex cardiac cases, bridging the gap between advanced technology and patient care.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with cardiologists and nursing staff to prepare patients for cardiac catheterization. Your day-to-day involves operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, assisting with catheter placement and device deployment, and managing contrast administration. You will monitor patient status throughout procedures, respond to emergent situations, and maintain strict sterile and radiation safety standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with the broader team to ensure efficient case flow, manage room turnover, and accurately document all care in the EMR.
