About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to join our team and assist customers while supporting daily store operations. This role is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth transaction processes for our shoppers.
What You Will Do
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers, scanning merchandise, and processing cash and card payments. You will handle returns, assist customers with product questions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. When needed, you will also assist with unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise, and helping maintain overall store cleanliness. Employees must follow company cash handling procedures and customer service policies.
