About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to assist customers, operate cash registers, and support daily store operations. This position is essential for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the store.
Day in the Life
As a Cashier, you will greet customers, scan merchandise, and process cash and card payments. You will also handle returns and assist customers with product questions. When needed, you will help stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Additionally, you may assist with unloading deliveries and helping maintain overall store cleanliness. Employees must follow company cash handling procedures and customer service policies.
