About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to assist customers, operate cash registers, and support daily store operations. This position is designed to provide essential customer service while maintaining the efficiency and organization of our store environment. The role involves a blend of front-line customer interaction and back-of-house support, ensuring a positive shopping experience for every visitor.
Day in the Life
As a Cashier, you will be the face of the store, greeting customers and assisting them with product questions. Your day will involve scanning merchandise, processing cash and card payments, and card payments, and handling returns in accordance with company policies. Beyond the register, you will play a key role in store operations by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean checkout area, and assisting with unloading deliveries. This position requires flexibility, as you may be asked to help maintain overall store cleanliness and organization as needed.
