About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to join our team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. This role is essential to our daily operations, focusing on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. As a Cashier, you will be the face of the store, greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
Day in the Life
In this position, you will operate cash registers, scan merchandise, and process various payment methods including cash and cards. You will also handle returns and assist customers with product questions. Beyond the register, you may assist with unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise, and helping maintain store cleanliness. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves when needed and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
