About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to join our team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. This role is essential to our daily operations, focusing on providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the efficiency and organization of our stores. As a Cashier, you will be the face of Family Dollar, greeting customers and ensuring their shopping experience is positive and seamless.

Day in the Life

In this position, you will operate cash registers, scan merchandise, and process various payment methods including cash and cards. You will also handle returns and assist customers with product questions. Beyond the register, you may assist with unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. When needed, you will stock shelves and help maintain overall store cleanliness and organization. You will follow company cash handling procedures and customer service policies to ensure accuracy and security.
