About the Role
Walmart is seeking Cashiers and welcoming Cashiers and Front End Associates to join the team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of the store by assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring a positive shopping experience from start to finish.
Day in the Life
As a Cashier or Front End Associate, your primary focus will be on providing friendly and efficient customer service. You will operate registers, scan items accurately, and process various payment methods, including cash and card transactions. You will also assist customers with questions, handle returns and exchanges, and help manage self-checkout stations.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe checkout area is an essential part of the role. You will follow Walmart’s customer service policies, cash handling procedures, and front-end operational guidelines to ensure smooth store operations.
