Day in the Life
As a Cashier or Front End Associate, you will be responsible for scanning items accurately and processing cash and card payments efficiently. You will assist customers with questions, handle returns and exchanges, and bag items with care. The role also involves monitoring self-checkout stations, verifying prices, and helping customers navigate Walmart Pay or credit card transactions. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe checkout area is a key part of the daily routine.
