About the Role

Walmart is seeking Cashiers and Front End Associates to serve as the face of the store, assisting customers with their purchases and supporting overall front-end operations. This role is essential for maintaining a welcoming and efficient shopping environment, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and professional.

Day in the Life

As a Cashier or Front End Associate, you will be responsible for scanning items accurately and processing various payment methods, including cash, credit, and debit cards. You will assist customers with questions, handle returns and exchanges, and bag items for purchase. Additionally, you may support self-checkout stations by verifying prices and helping customers navigate Walmart Pay or other transaction methods. A key part of the role involves maintaining a clean, organized, and safe checkout area while adhering to Walmart’s customer service policies and cash handling procedures.
