About the Role

Walmart is seeking Cashiers and Front End Associates to join our team and assist customers with their purchases. This role is essential for supporting front-end store operations, ensuring a smooth and positive shopping experience for every customer. As a Front End Associate, you will be the face of Walmart, providing friendly customer service while managing transactions and maintaining the checkout area.

Day in the Life

In this position, you will be responsible for scanning items, processing cash and card payments, and handling returns and exchanges. You will assist customers with questions, help them with Walmart Pay or credit card transactions, and monitor self-checkout stations. A key part of your day involves bagging items and keeping the checkout area clean and organized. You will also verify prices and provide general customer service throughout the front-end area, following Walmart's customer service policies and cash handling procedures.
