About the Role
Walmart is seeking Cashiers and welcoming Cashiers and Front End Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of the store, assisting customers with purchases, operating registers, and supporting overall front-end store operations. Your primary focus will be on providing friendly customer service, ensuring transactions are processed quickly and accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Day in the Life
As a Front End Associate, your day involves a variety of tasks designed to keep the front end running smoothly. You will be responsible for scanning items, processing both at traditional registers and self-checkout stations. You will handle cash and card payments, verify prices, and assist customers with Walmart Pay or credit card transactions. Additionally, you will manage returns and exchanges, answer customer questions, and help shoppers with their purchases. A key part of the role is monitoring self-checkout lanes and ensuring the checkout area remains clean and organized throughout your shift.
