Cashier/Front End Associate

About the Role

Walmart is seeking Cashiers and Front End Associates to join our team and assist customers with their purchases. This role is essential for maintaining smooth front-end store operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and supporting the daily flow of the store.

Day in the Life

As a Cashier or Front End Associate, you will be the face of Walmart for many customers. Your day will involve scanning items quickly and accurately, processing cash and card payments, and handling returns and exchanges. You will also be responsible for bagging items and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.

Beyond the register, you may assist customers with self-checkout stations, verify prices, and help shoppers with Walmart Pay or credit card transactions. You will provide general customer service throughout the front-end area, answering questions and ensuring customers have what they need. You will follow Walmart’s customer service policies, cash handling procedures, and front-end operational guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
