About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to assist customers, operate cash registers, and support daily store operations. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the efficiency and organization of the store. The role exists to ensure a welcoming environment for shoppers, handling transactions accurately, and supporting the overall cleanliness and merchandising standards of the location.
Day in the Life
As a Cashier, you will greet customers warmly and assist them with product questions. Your day involves scanning merchandise, processing cash and card payments, and card payments, and handling returns in accordance with company policies. Beyond the register, you will assist with unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise on shelves when needed, helping to maintain a clean and organized checkout area. You will also assist with store cleanliness and organizing merchandise to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
