About the Role

Ace Hardware Cashiers and Customer Service Associates play a vital role in the daily operations of our store, serving as the primary point of contact for our community. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be the face of Ace Hardware, ensuring that every customer leaves with the tools, hardware, and home improvement solutions they need to complete their projects successfully.

Day in the Life

As a Cashier and Customer Service Associate, your day involves a mix of customer interaction and store maintenance. You will assist customers with their purchases, operate the register efficiently, and help shoppers locate specific tools and hardware items. Beyond the register, you will answer basic home improvement questions, restock shelves, organize merchandise, and help maintain store cleanliness and organization. When needed, you may also assist with inventory and stocking tasks to keep the store running smoothly.
