Petco Cashiers and Customer Service Associates are responsible for providing a friendly and helpful shopping experience while supporting daily store operations. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers and helping them find the best products for their pets.
Day in the Life
As a Cashier or Customer Service Associate, you will operate the register and handle cash and card transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with finding pet food and supplies, answer basic pet care product questions, and provide guidance to ensure a positive shopping experience.
You will also play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and helping set up displays. Keeping the store clean and organized is an essential part of the role, ensuring that customers have a pleasant environment to shop in.
