About the Role

Ace Hardware Cashiers and Customer Service Associates play a vital role in the daily operations of our stores, serving as the primary point of contact for our community. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. The core mission of this role is to ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience and the tools they need for their home improvement projects.

Day in the Life

As a Cashier or Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of the store, assisting customers with their purchases and operating the register with accuracy and efficiency. Beyond the checkout lane, you will actively engage with shoppers by helping them locate specific tools and hardware items, answering basic home improvement questions, and providing friendly, knowledgeable service.

Your day will also involve maintaining the visual appeal and organization of the sales floor. This includes restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and helping to maintain overall store cleanliness and organization. When needed, you may also assist with inventory management and stocking tasks to ensure our shelves are always full and ready for customers.
