About the Role
Ace Hardware Cashiers and Customer Service Associates play a vital role in the daily operations of our stores, serving as the primary point of contact for our community. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As a key member of the store team, you will assist customers with their purchases, operate the register, and provide expert guidance on locating tools and hardware items. You will also answer basic home improvement questions, ensuring that customers leave with the right products for their projects.
Beyond the register, this role involves maintaining the visual appeal and organization of the store. You will be responsible for restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and helping maintain store cleanliness and organization. Additionally, employees may assist with inventory and stocking when needed, ensuring that our shelves are always full and ready for our customers. This position typically pays $13–$16 per hour depending on location and experience.
