About the Role
Ace Hardware Cashiers and Customer Service Associates are the heart of the store, providing friendly and efficient service to every customer who walks through the door. As a Cashier or Customer Service Associate, you play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will be the first point of contact for many, helping them find exactly what they need for their home improvement projects or daily tasks.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and store maintenance. You will assist customers with their purchases, operate the register, and help them locate specific tools and hardware items. Beyond the register, you will answer basic home improvement questions, restock shelves, organize merchandise, and help maintain store cleanliness and organization. When needed, you may also assist with inventory and stocking tasks such as inventory management and general stocking duties. Your ability to keep the store organized and welcoming is key to our success.
