Cashier/Customer Service Associate

About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to assist customers, operate cash registers, and support daily store operations. This position is pivotal in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for our shoppers. Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, scanning merchandise, processing cash and card payments, and card payments, handling returns, and handling returns. The role also involves assisting customers with product questions, stocking shelves when needed, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Employees may also assist with unloading deliveries, organizing merchandise, and helping maintain store cleanliness. This position typically pays $12 to $15 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on location and experience.
