Cashier/Customer Service Associate

About the Role

Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Cashiers and Customer Service Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, assisting customers with their shopping needs while supporting daily store operations. You will play a vital part in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and organized environment for our community.

What You Will Do

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering product questions, and ensuring a positive experience. Your day-to-day tasks include operating cash registers, scanning merchandise, and processing cash and card payments accurately. You will also handle returns and exchanges following company policies.

Beyond the register, this role involves contributing to overall store maintenance. You may assist with unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and keeping the checkout area clean, and helping maintain general store cleanliness and organization.
