About the Role
Family Dollar is seeking Cashiers to join our team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. This role is essential to our daily operations, focusing on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. As a Cashier, you will be the face of the store, greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
Day in the Life
Your primary responsibility will be to operate cash registers and process transactions accurately, including cash and card payments. You will also handle returns and answer customer questions about products. Beyond the register, you will play a key role in keeping the store organized and clean. This includes stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and assisting with unloading deliveries, and maintaining a tidy checkout area.
