What You’ll Do

As a Cashier, your primary focus is on customer connection and operational efficiency. You will ring up customer purchases accurately and promptly, handling transactions with care. Beyond the register, you will be the first to address customer questions and concerns, utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve issues or escalate to management when necessary. You will also contribute to maintaining the store’s cleanliness and safety standards, working collaboratively with your team to ensure the front-end department runs smoothly.

While experience in a front-end role is preferred, we value attitude and willingness to learn. Familiarity with coupons, returns, and security procedures is a plus, but not required for entry.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent physical activity, including lifting or carrying items up to 50 lbs., pushing and using equipment such as scanners, registers, and check approval machines. Occasional tasks may involve lifting over 50 lbs. and performing actions like squatting or stooping. Mental requirements include judgment, decision-making, and interaction with customers and team members.
