About the Role

As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to members in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a positive impact on the lives of seniors or individuals with disabilities. You will serve as a friendly face, offering support with daily tasks and engaging in meaningful activities that enhance the member's quality of life.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day interactions will focus on building a genuine relationship with your assigned member. You might assist with light household tasks, such as laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and organization. You may also help with errands, including picking up groceries or medications, and providing transportation to appointments like the doctor's office or the bank.

Beyond practical assistance, a significant part of the role involves companionship. You will engage in great conversations, watch movies, play board games, or simply enjoy shared activities like watching movies, playing board games, or going for a walk. You may also assist with technology, helping members download apps, use video calls, or send emails, or other digital tools to stay connected.
