Day in the Life
Your day as a Papa Pal might involve a variety of supportive and engaging activities tailored to the member's needs. You may assist with running errands, such as picking up groceries or medications, and providing transportation to appointments like the doctor's office or the bank. Beyond logistical support, you can help members stay connected by teaching them how to use video calls, send emails, or access apps.
Companionship is at the heart of the role. You might engage in meaningful conversations, watch movies together, play board games, or go for a walk. You may also assist with light household tasks, including laundry, light cleaning, meal preparation, and organization. Additionally, you can help care for a member's pet by walking them or filling their food and water bowls.
