As a Papa Pal Care Companion, you playmate, you will provide companionship and assistance to members in their homes. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy connecting with others and making a meaningful difference in someone's day. No prior healthcare experience is required, required, making this an accessible opportunity for those looking to enter the caregiving field or simply contribute to their community.
What You Will Do
Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for members through practical support and engaging companionship. You might assist with daily tasks such as picking up groceries or medications, providing transportation to medical appointments or the bank, and helping with light household chores like laundry, meal preparation, and organization.
Beyond practical assistance, you will serve as a trusted friend. This includes engaging in meaningful conversations, watching movies together, playing board games, or going for walks. You may also help members navigate technology, such as downloading apps, setting up video calls, or sending emails, ensuring they stay connected with their loved ones.
