About the Team
Dignity Health Medical Group in Bakersfield is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery & Specialty Care team. Our program serves a broad and diverse patient population across Kern County and the greater Central Valley. We operate within a collaborative, physician-led environment that prioritizes high-quality outcomes and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Surgeons work closely with cardiology, anesthesiology, critical care, nursing, and advanced practice providers to deliver coordinated care across the continuum—from diagnosis through surgery and recovery. The practice is located at Dignity Health – Memorial Hospital and the Sarvanand Heart & Brain Center, offering an established program with strong volumes and robust referral patterns.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to deliver advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical care, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, and structural heart procedures. You will join a dedicated team with advanced practice providers and clinical support, working in a professionally managed medical group that emphasizes quality, safety, and patient experience.
