About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within an underperforming automotive territory. This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and converting high-potential customers through a hunter-focused sales approach.

Day in the Life

In this field-based position, you will spend the majority of your time in the Chicagoland area, traveling 60%+ to visit customer sites. Your day involves conducting high-volume outbound sales activity via phone, email, and in-person visits. You are expected to complete 20–25 meaningful sales conversations per day and visit 5–10 customer sites while in the field. When in-office, you will make 60+ outbound dials. You will analyze territory performance data to identify growth opportunities and partner closely with internal sales resources to review pipeline, tasks, and territory strategy.
