Mercy Medical Center - Baltimore is pleased to announce a full-time opportunity for a Medical Oncologist to join The Medical Oncology and Hematology Department. We are expanding our team to provide services at Mercy's various locations in Baltimore County in addition to our Downtown Baltimore practice.
Join us and be part of a 150-year tradition of helping and healing the communities of Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. As a Medical Oncologist, you will provide clinical care in our satellite locations in Baltimore County and Mercy's downtown campus. Enjoy a shared call schedule and work with a team of colleagues to care for the needs of our patients in a collaborative, team environment.
At Mercy, we believe exceptional oncology care begins with strong physician-patient relationships, compassionate collaboration, and meeting patients where they are—both clinically and personally. You will practice in a community-focused care model that combines the resources of a respected regional medical center with the personalized experience of neighborhood-based care. You'll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes and supporting patients through every stage of their cancer journey.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing and highly collaborative Medical Oncology and Hematology program that values physician engagement, continuity of care, and meaningful community impact. The role offers a unique chance to practice across Mercy's downtown campus and community satellite locations throughout Baltimore County within a patient-centered care model emphasizing continuity, accessibility, and compassionate care delivery.
The position features a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with experienced oncology colleagues and support staff, a shared call rotation designed to support physician work-life balance, and structured clinic scheduling that allows full-day continuity clinics at each practice location. You will play a key role in the continued growth and expansion of Mercy's oncology services throughout the region in a primarily outpatient practice with inpatient consultative responsibilities supported by dedicated Hospitalist and Intensivist teams.
