Bilingual Remote Clinic Nurse - RN
location_on1136, Fillmore Street, Denver, Colorado, 80206, United States
Job Description
About the Role
It’s so satisfying to have the flexibility to take care of our community. Some of my patients remind me of my family. Comparing my experience from the hospital to here at Clinica, I feel like I’m actually making change.
This role offers the opportunity to work independently at the top of your scope, collaborating with providers as an equal partner. You will lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and fostering a great relationship with your team, even on challenging days.
Day in the Life
As a Bilingual Remote Clinic Nurse, you will provide remote nursing support to clinic teams. Your day may include focusing on RN tasking, reviewing lab reports, communicating with patients, and coordinating care. You will complete nurse lab reports in the morning, ensuring timely review, follow-up, and documentation. Additionally, you will manage the clinic task box and patient portal in a timely and accurate manner, handling patient outreach, education, and coordination with providers and care teams.
You will support abnormal lab result workflows and treat per protocol when appropriate. While primarily remote, you may occasionally assist with outreach to walk-in patients requiring triage or help with other sites with high task volumes. Although this role is remote, team members may be asked to assist in person to support clinical coverage, attending to the needs of the team including injections, medication administration, and patient education.
You will have the opportunity to work at the top of your scope by conducting independent Nurse Visits, such as wound care, managing INRs, hypertension visits, and UTIs. You will also participate in Co-visits, evaluating patients in collaboration with the provider and treating patients with acute needs to help create access for patients. Before shifts, you will build teamwork by attending huddles to review any anticipated nurse needs.
Workspace Requirements
Your remote workspace at home in Colorado must include a HIPAA compliant space. Please note that the primary location is subject to change at any time based on organizational needs.
Equal Opportunity
We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
