About AMBA

For over 65 years, AMBA has proudly served retired public servants by offering access to supplemental insurance benefits they may not receive through traditional retirement plans. We partner with 450+ associations across all 50 states and Canada — representing over 44 million members, including educators, first responders, veterans, healthcare workers, trade professionals, and more.

In Alabama, AMBA is the exclusive endorsed provider for the Alabama Education Retirees Association and Alabama Retired State Employees' Association/Alabama Public Employees' giving direct access to their members and communities.

Why Partner with AMBA

We provide a proven system with structured processes, support, and brand reputation to help you grow your business. We provide leads at no cost to you through exclusive association access, but outbound calling is still a big part of the role — persistence and follow-up drive results.

This is purpose-driven work where you help protect the retirement and financial well-being of those who spent their careers serving others. You have entrepreneurial freedom to manage your schedule, but consistent full-time effort is essential to succeed in this role. We offer comprehensive training from licensing support to ongoing sales coaching, product education, and business planning, our training program sets you up for long-term success — whether you're new to insurance or ready to launch your career.

The Role

You will meet virtually or in person with association members to understand their needs and recommend supplemental insurance solutions. You will educate clients through one-on-one consultations, webinars, and group presentations. Use a consultative sales approach to help retirees protect their health, income, and legacy — including options like Fixed Indexed Annuities for long-term retirement planning.

You will stay engaged with ongoing training, mentorship, and business planning to continuously improve your performance.

Who Thrives Here

We encourage you to apply if you have an entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude. You should have strong communication and relationship-building skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service and follow-through. You must have a Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain — we will guide you through the process). You should have a desire to grow your income and independence with a performance-driven model.
