About the Role
Behavioral Consultants contracted with Achieve provide evidence-based behavioral support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a contracted position, and we are intentionally building a network of independent clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and collaborative, team-based care.
Behavioral Consultants at Achieve complete functional assessments, develop practical behavior support strategies, and work closely with families and support teams to improve quality of life. Services are delivered primarily in home and community-based settings, with a focus on real-world application and sustainable outcomes.
Independent Contractor Information
Behavioral Consultants provide services under an Independent Contractor Agreement and are not employees of Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, LLC. Achieve will not provide insurance coverage of any kind for the benefit of the Contractor, including but not limited to Worker's Compensation, Unemployment, or other insurance.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTeach and coach caregivers and staff on behavior support strategies and interventions
- check_circleReview data and monitor progress to ensure sustainable outcomes
- check_circleDocument and report in compliance with BDDS waiver standards and billing requirements
- check_circleComplete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and conduct ongoing behavioral evaluations
- check_circleCollaborate with case managers, waiver providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- check_circleIdentify the function of behavior and provide outcome-based recommendations
- check_circleDevelop, implement, and revise Behavior Support Plans in alignment with PCISP
Requirements
- verifiedMaster’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
- verifiedCPR & First Aid Certificate
- verifiedNegative TB test
- verifiedClean background check
- verifiedProfessional Liability Insurance
- verifiedValid Driver’s License
- verifiedActive Auto Insurance
- verifiedExperience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support Plans
